Java House Wednesday

Yes, it's Wednesday again! This week seems to have flown by. I have been so busy nursing sick kids, working and being Mom, that I haven't even had a second to sit down at my favorite Starbucks (the one with the great view of Pikes Peak) and relax with a hot frothy latte.
One of my favorite aspects of a great coffeehouse is the music. There are times when a quiet corner is perfect, like when I take my school books to study for an exam. (Those days are almost over by the way! Yay!) For the most part though, I like my coffeehouse to have funky, folksy music. The Greener Bean, in Fircrest, WA had live music on some afternoons. Perfection. There is just something great about having background music….like in a movie.

I could bore you with another history lesson this week, on coffeehouse musicians, but I want you to keep reading each week so…let’s talk about the music you listen to when you are scrapbooking/crafting. I have an actual Scrapbook Playlist on my Ipod. It’s like at the coffeehouse, perfect background music for creating. Here’s a partial list of artists on the playlist:

Jack Johnson
Colbie Callait
Natalie Walker
Mat Nathanson
Norah Jones
Paramore
Jennifer Knapp
Sara Bareilles
Needtobreathe
Alicia Keys
Corrine Bailey Rae
Priscilla Ahn
Sara Groves
Owl City
Ingrid Michaelson
Regina Spektor

Who’s on your playlist? Leave a comment with the top five artists you listen to when you are creating. Your name will be entered in the March Coffee Love drawing. (Winner to be announced in the 3/30 Java Wednesday blog post. More details to follow.)

  1. Don't really listen to music when I'm scrapping. But my iPod playlist is very eclectic...the corrs, kevin rudolph, three doors down, don mclean, pussycat dolls...and casting crowns...i know, right?

    Love you!
