Cheep, Cheep

I had planned on getting the neighbor girls Kinder Eggs for Easter...until I discovered you can't legally purchase them in the US anymore. So,  I made these sweet little goodie bags instead.
For these little "bags" of goodies I used the Plantin Schoolbook bag and grass cuts. I also used the Cheep Talk chick cut from Just Because Cards. (All carts for Cricut.)

Weekly Blend #6
Robust, a little quirky, but oh so tasty!

#1
I am always looking for layouts that use a lot of 4x6 photos. I love this Rock Star one over at Allison Davis's blog! When you pop over to check out the blog, make sure to check out her sketch blog too. Lots of great stuff Miss Ali!

#2
Too cute! I have seen some chocolate peeps at the store but not as adorable as this one. Thanks Greenbean's Crafterole for this yummy idea. (I am hoping they are as "easy peepsy" as you say!

#3

Moss wreaths and letters seem to be everywhere this Spring. Allie at Miss Lovie has designed a lovely wreath. She also has examples of other fun ideas people have used. Enjoy!

Just 3 blog features this week. Happy Easter!!

Copy Cat

Remember these great candy jars I featured a couple of weeks ago? I actually sat down and made my own version! (I always file these great ideas and then don't actually do them so this is big stuff here today!)
The sparkly eggs are from Joanne's and I put the initial of each of the kids on the front. (For those of you who know me, the "T" is for Tanner, our sponsor son from the US Air Force Academy.) I ran out of mini robin eggs so only have one of the three completed for sharing today.

Happy Easter!

Weekly Blend #5

Robust, a little quirky, and oh so tasty!

#1.
Miss Jo over at Smile Monsters has some of the cutest ideas on her blog. On Fridays she hosts a fun crafty, kid friendly, sharing day too! This Candy/Cake bark looks and sounds delish. Make sure to scroll down past the recipe to see the pattern and instructions for the awesome french fry boxes to present these in.

#2.
I have been eyeing these Maya Road ATC shadow boxes since Thanksgiving. I love, love how Amy at Pickled Paper Designs dressed hers up! You must take a few minutes to browse around her blog, she has a lovely, crafty talent that you won't want to miss.

#3.
It wouldn't be the Weekly Blend without a coffee themed project! Gabi over at Gabi With an Eye made this fabulous Latte card. I am in love....thank you a latte Miss Gabi!

#4.
My daughter, Hannah, will tell you that I am always eye balling the sweet little bird decor at Hobby Lobby lately! Andrea at Charcoal and Crayons just inspired me to make a flock for myself. Aren't they the sweetest? I can just imagine them sitting in my scrap room cheering me on.

#5.
In honor of my sister who is on her way home from her tour in Afghanistan! Thank you Amy at Ink About Me for this gorgeous patriotic sampler card. Y'all should go check out her blog. She uses these great die cuts that you have to check out if you have a Sissix or Cuttlebug machine.

Birthday Wishes

I am really enjoying the challenges at Birthday Sundaes. This week they posted a picture as inspiration for a card. Here is my take, using a rub-on, ribbon and bling. The scalloped oval is the layer for the lamb cut, From My Kitchen by Cricut. (Click the button over on the right to see the challenge picture.)

Back Porch - March

I have been remiss in posting the fabulous kits I get from Back Porch Memories each month. I promise to start sharing a picture of the goodies and at least one project I have made with them. The March kit is perfect for Spring, Summer and family photos, among other things. Here's a quick peek....

Since I only had one more year of Easter photos to scrapbook I decided to use the Pebbles in My Pocket  "Happy Go Lucky" line of paper and adorable stickers from my March BPM stash. No Cricut on this layout, lol...a miracle! (The buttons and brown cardstock were not in the kit. There is some gorgeous coordinating buttons and cardstock in the stash though.)
